The Plotters are artists in the community who also become its voice: sharing the project, spreading the word and making visible what would otherwise stay invisible.
A Plotter is an artist whose design becomes a garment. Someone who enters their art, wears the result and carries the message, not as a spokesperson, but as the author of what people are wearing.
Their design goes into production. Their name travels with every piece.
When the garments sell, they share in the result — the same share as the cause, and the same as everyone who makes the project work.
This is not an ambassador programme. No performance targets. Just art, community and a fair share of what we build together.
Plotter
Carlos Marcano is a Venezuelan-born artist based in Barcelona. His work explores geometry, movement and optical perception through laser-cut acrylic, repeated forms and precise compositions.
Influenced by Jesús Rafael Soto, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Victor Vasarely, Kinetic Art and Optical Art, he creates pieces that shift as the viewer moves. Since 2012, he has been developing a visual language where light, rhythm and geometry make static surfaces feel alive.
As a Plotter, he brings his own work into the community and helps carry the idea forward.
His art does not sit still. It makes the eye move.

Mila Ivanova is a multidisciplinary artist based in Barcelona, known for her iconic work based on the Kiss.
What began as a personal search through art has today become a creative universe where original work, fashion, design, cultural spaces and community coexist.
Mila does not paint lips, she paints feelings.
The kiss is her language: a form of free expression, without gender, without borders.
Her work transforms an everyday gesture into a universal symbol of love, presence and connection.
Every piece is unique. Every kiss, unrepeatable.
Her three spaces in Barcelona are far more than shops: they are open galleries where art can be lived, discovered and shared.
Places where original work, design, community and experiences coexist.

Brian McCarthy is an Irish artist who lives and works in Mondsee, Austria. Born in Drogheda, Ireland, he spent many years in the vibrant art scene of London.
During the 1990s, McCarthy was closely connected to leading musicians and artists, whose creative energy left a lasting impression on him. For more than two decades, he has been developing a colorful and contemporary body of work in which painting and text fragments merge into a distinctive artistic expression.
Brian lives in Mondsee with his wife and daughter, where he is also actively involved in the cultural life of the region. His works have been shown in numerous exhibitions both in Austria and abroad, reaching a wide audience. From 2016 to 2021 he was part of the cultural association and festival “Einmal Mond & Zurück” (“Once to the Moon & Back”) in Mondsee, which created a platform for exchange between art, music, and society.
His works are characterized by strong colors and a clear formal language. Text fragments, spontaneous structures, and layered compositions converge in his paintings, creating a dialogue between personal experiences and universal themes. Visitors often describe his works as powerful, distinctive, and at the same time open to individual interpretation. EVERY PLOT HAS A HOST.
Each collection is accompanied by an artist with a long body of work. Not a jury, not a mentor handing down verdicts — someone who has spent years doing this and is willing to pass on what they know.
Halfway through the collection, the Host leads a workshop with the artists taking part. It is a working session: how a body of work gets built, how it survives, what the years teach. In person or online, and open to everyone who took part — not a prize for one. And it is a room full of people at the same point you are, which matters as much as the workshop itself.
Every Plot has a different Host. The work travels further when the people making it know each other.

Born 1961 in Straß, Styria. His first international work was in music, with the Vienna Boys’ Choir. He trained at the Meisterschule für Malerei in Graz and then at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna under Maria Lassnig, Hubert Schmalix and C. L. Attersee, graduating in 1992, with photography under Friedl Kubelka-Bondy and Rudi Molacek. Sculpture and conceptual art followed with Timm Ulrichs at the Kunstakademie Münster and Michelangelo Pistoletto at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, and screenwriting at the Filmschule Wien. Since 1990 he has worked across painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation and performance, much of it in public and social space: Alpha Black and White at the National Gallery in Bangkok, the sculpture Monument at Mauthausen, radikal lokal and Butoh at the MuseumsQuartier in Vienna, and a solo exhibition at the Leopold Museum. His work is held by the Joanneum in Graz, the Neue Galerie Graz, the Styrian Art Foundation and the National Art Gallery in Bangkok, among others. Alongside it runs three decades of work in art and therapy — with children, with people with disabilities, in preventive youth work and in drug aftercare — and since 2014 he has taught on the art therapy programme at the Sigmund Freud University in Vienna and Berlin.
The next Plotters are out there: artists who make things, believe in community and want a real stake in what gets built.
